PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

·   Performed installations, technical support, troubleshooting and maintenance of network equipment, oversaw the management of subcontracted work, including working with upper levels of the subcontractor structure, and the creation of engineering design documents for the network on the base.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

·   Supervising installation and troubleshooting client based devices like VOIP, PABX, X-DSL Router and IPTV through GPON and Legacy Technology.

·   Prepare Scope of Work, Manpower requirements; Bill of Materials includes ISP and OSP requirements.

·   Survey assigned area for fiber to the premise FTTP overlay utilizing GIS maps and reference drawings provided by Main Contractor.

·   Plan for the location of Fiber Terminal Cabinet and feeder pickup point in coordination with Main Contractor representatives.

·   Terminal boundary sizing, dwelling unit verification such as Multiple and Single dwelling units MDUs and SFUs, and Business Units BUs.

·   Plan cable sizing and Terminal locations.

·   Verify existing utilities along proposed cable route: Power, Water, Sewer, CATV and Telephone facilities.

·   Verify method of cable distribution i.e. aerial, direct buried, underground and verify easement with local private and government entities.

·   Prepare Bill of Materials BOM, Responsibility Matrix.

·   Prepare Design drawings: Cable Distribution layout, cross sections showing existing and proposed cable and utilities, Safety construction plan, Feeder Cabinet details, manhole fold outs.

·   Survey, plan, design, integrate, and implement, QA and commission.

·   Provide customer engineering service support, system troubleshooting and technology solution recommendations.

·   Work with consultants and other engineering professionals to cost effectively design, specify, and integrate and other telecommunications systems solutions.
